Today is National Green Juice Day! Green juice is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals that can help to support immunity, aid in digestion, and decrease inflammation. In celebration, here are the KnoWEwell Family’s top 3 green juice recipes. Enjoy!

Green Apple, Lemon, Ginger Juice

  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 medium carrot (optional)
  • 5 celery stalks
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1 green apple
  • 2 lemons
  • 1" piece of fresh ginger

Avocado Smoothie, Made with Fresh Avocados

Dr. Hyman’s Green Breakfast Smoothie

  • 1 lemon, quartered (washed and unpeeled)
  • 1 whole avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 2 cups spinach
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • ½ bunch cilantro
  • 1 organic cucumber (washed and unpeeled)
  • 1 teaspoon organic extra-virgin olive oil
  • pinch sea salt
  • water as needed

Classic Green Juice

  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 green apple
  • ½ lemon
  • 1” piece of fresh ginger
  • handful of kale
  • handful of parsley
